FAQs

will tours still run in bad weather?

If we cancelled every tour in London because of the rain, we would never work! Maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, but the UK is not famous for its good weather, so unless there is a severe weather warning, the tours will go ahead. in any case, if we did have to cancel, we would let you know as soon as possible.

how long are the tours?

It depends on the tour, but anywhere between 1 and 2.5 hours long. Please check the average duration for each tour.

how large are the groups?

Typically, our group sizes would be no larger than 15 people. However, in accordance with current government guidelines, our groups are a maximum of 6 people including the guide. This is subject to change as lockdown restrictions ease.

are the tours suitable for children?

Our tours are not specifically designed for children, however, this does not mean that kids are not welcome! We would hope that our alternative history tours are educational and engaging for younger people, but please read the description of each tour to make sure you’re happy for your children to attend as some tours might contain colourful language or references to alcohol, sex, drugs or violence. If you would like a private tour just for children, we can adapt our content accordingly, just let us know at info@rebeltours.co.uk.

are the tours wheelchair accessible?

Admittedly, London is not the most wheelchair-friendly city, but we do try to design our routes to make them as accessible as possible for everyone. Please email us ahead at info@rebeltours.co.uk as soon as you can if you have any specific requirements.

can i cancel my tour if i can no longer make it?

If you find that you can no longer make the tour, please email us at info@rebeltours.co.uk as soon as possible and we can try our best to help out. As stated in our terms and conditions, we have a no refund policy, unless the cancellation is our fault. However, if you let us know 48 hours before the start of the tour, we can reschedule your tour for a different day.

will i be refunded if the tour is cancelled due to covid?

Yes. If we cannot legally run the tour due to Covid restrictions or another lockdown, we will offer a full refund or a redeemable voucher for the same amount as the ticket price. Please note that this is only in the case that we cannot run the tour because the law prohibits it.

what time should i arrive for the tour?

Please aim to arrive around 10 minutes before the beginning of the tour. This just means the guide has time to check everyone’s bookings and is able to start the tour on time.

what happens if i show up late to a tour?

A guide will contact you before the start of a tour with the details you provided when booking, to remind you of the location and exact time the tour starts. If you know you are going to be late, please let us know as soon as possible so the guide can contact you and if possible, let you know their location so you can join the tour.

can i just show up on the day without booking?

Sorry but no. We need to know the numbers in advance so you will need to book your tour on our website before you turn up.

can i book a private tour?
