ELEISHA (ELLIE)
CO FOUNDER OF REBEL TOURS

Though her parents were born in the UK, Ellie grew up in the south of Spain, where she began studying her Art History degree, before moving to London in 2013. It was in London that she first began guiding and discovered it was a great way to share the stories she loved with anyone who would listen! However, she eventually started to find the tour industry a little soulless and longed to show people the real London, along with the incredible mix of characters that make up its history, which led her to create Rebel Tours along with her friend and colleague Charlie.

GWEN
HEAD OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Gwen is a Londoner born and bred and lives in Hackney with her human companion Ellie. For years, Gwen watched Ellie leave in the morning to show off the sights, and wondered why she couldn’t do the same. Now at Rebel Tours, she works very hard to make sure every guest has a pawsome experience of her city, and all she asks for in return are a few sweet potato chews and a pat (actually, heavy on the pats). Gwen works on a part time basis so she has time for her other job, chasing pigeons, cats AND foxes out of the garden.

CHARLOTTE (CHARLIE)
CO FOUNDER OF REBEL TOURS

Charlie grew up in New Zealand, where she studied Politics and Drama at the University of Auckland, before working in business development in the entertainment industry. She moved to London in 2007, and has been passionately tour-guiding in both London and Oxford since 2011. She grew a little disenchanted with telling the same versions of events on more “typical” tours of London, which led to her complimenting her tour portfolio with women’s history tours for Women of London in 2018, and eventually partnering with Ellie to create Rebel Tours.
