TOUR BOOKINGS
The tours available to book on our website are paid tours. You will receive an email confirmation when your booking and payment have been successfully processed. If you do not receive this confirmation after booking, check your spam or junk folder, but otherwise please email us at info@rebetours.co.uk so we can make sure the order has gone through correctly.
Please bring confirmation of your booking to show your guide at the start of your tour. You can either print this off or show the confirmation to the guide on your tablet or smartphone. You must pay for your tour before you show up at the start point. We do not accept walk-ups as we cannot guarantee there will be a place on the tour.
If you have booked a ticket with a concession, you must be able to prove you are eligible for this discount with a valid form of ID or student ID, if required. If you cannot prove your eligibility, you may be asked to pay the difference between a regular ticket and a concession.
Children up to the age of 13 can join the tours for free but all under 18s must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times. At this time, due to government guidelines restricting the group sizes, we are currently only able to accept a maximum of two children (under 14) per booking. If you are booking a tour for a group of children, such as a school group, then this is classed as a private tour and must be booked separately by emailing us at info@rebeltours.co.uk.
The price of the tours includes your guide(s). Unless specified it does not include food, beverage, transportation, and other incidentals such as bathrooms.
MAKING CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
If you need to reschedule the date or time of your tour, please email us at info@rebeltours.co.uk with your booking details at least 48 hours before the start of the tour. We will try our best to book you on another day/time but we cannot guarantee your preferred date(s) or time(s) will be available.
CANCELLING A BOOKING
If Rebel Tours is to blame for a tour being cancelled, we will offer you a redeemable voucher for the same amount as the ticket you purchased, to be used on another tour. If preferable, we will also offer a full refund.
We cannot be held responsible if a tour is cancelled due to what is known as an “Act of God” (earthquake, tsunami, extreme weather conditions) or a terrorist incident. We will, however, do our best to reschedule your tour. During the current COVID crisis, if new government restrictions mean we cannot run the tour, we will offer a full refund or a redeemable voucher for the same amount as the purchased ticket price.
Please note that if you request to cancel your tour we have a no-refunds policy. However, if you let us know at least 48 hours before the start of your tour, we can assist you as much as we can and try to reschedule your tour.
PRIVATE TOURS
A private tour is a tour with a guide that’s just for yourself and/or your group. Bookings can be made by emailing info@rebeltours.co.uk. We take a 50% down payment to secure your date(s) and a guide for the tour. As soon as the payment is processed you will receive an email confirmation. If you don’t receive one, first check your spam or junk folders and otherwise email us at info@rebeltours.co.uk, so we can make sure the order has been processed correctly. The total payment must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the tour.
The price of a private tour includes the guide(s). Unless specified it does not include food, beverage, transportation, and other incidentals such as bathrooms.
To ensure the quality of the tour, we have a maximum group size of 15 people per guide. If your group is over 15, you may need to book an extra guide.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times during the tour.
making changes to a private booking
If you need to make changes to a booking for a private tour, please email us at info@rebeltours.co.uk at least 7 days before the start of the tour. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to reschedule for your preferred date(s). The sooner you let us know, the better. If you want to make a change less than 7 days before the start of the tour, we will try our best, but if we are unable to reschedule we reserve the right to keep the 50% deposit.
Cancelling a private booking
If you want to cancel a private booking, please email us at least 7 days before the start of the tour and if your deposit has been taken, we will refund this. If you wish to cancel less than 7 days before the start of your tour, you will lose your 50% deposit. If you cancel a private booking less than 48 hours before the start of a tour, we have a no-refunds policy, and Rebel Tours reserves the right to keep 100% of the fee. If you do not show up to the start of a tour, you will not be refunded.
LATE POLICY
When you book a tour, public or private, this is for the amount of time specified in the tour description. Before the tour, you will be given the contact details of your guide. If you know you are going to arrive late to the start of the tour, please let the guide know as soon as possible. If you arrive over 10 minutes after the start of the tour, your guide can try to direct you so you can join the group. In the case of a private tour, if you arrive over 10 minutes late, this time will be deducted from the agreed length of the tour. If no contact is made within 15 minutes of the agreed start time, the guide will consider this a no-show and you will not be refunded.
PARTICIPATION
Taking part in a tour with Rebel Tours is strictly voluntary and both Rebel Tours, as well as your guide, have the right to deny participation to anyone, for any reason at any time.
Our tours are not high-risk activities, but like all activities, there is a level of risk, though we try our hardest to keep this to a minimum. Rebel tours assume no liability or responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience sustained by any person using its services, nor to their property.
